Orange pumpkin bars

Cooked a sugar pumpkin yesterday and decided to make a pumpkin soap with some.
I didn't have any pumpkin type scent so I used orange EO with some different FO's to help sweeten it. The top is scented with OMH. Smells really good, hope it doesn't fade too much.

Used buttermilk in the whole batch, pumpkin and some spices are in the bottom portion. I cut at 12 hours and it was almost too hard, some was some crumbling around the bottom.

Hubby has been pestering me for pumpkin pie since he saw the soap, I'd rather make more soap lol.

I love that! It looks like you took a torch to meringue on top. How did you get the golden tips on the white whips? Is it just from the sugar heating?

I always find the most scrumptious looking soaps when I'm hungry! All I see is carrot cake right now.

I kept seeing carrot cake too, wish I would have had some carrot FO to go with it. I had a little orange batter left over so I globed it on top and used a spatula to texture with, the orange just kinda blended in all over.
