I was just looking at on line soap stores . I could not believe how many had no way to order that I could find. Many many items out of stock .No description .No ingredient list . Bad or no pictures. The list goes on.Do people maybe start them and lose interest ? I just found it strange. Anybody else ever notice this.

Kitn,

One of my favorite online soap stores is countrycottagebylinda.com

I've ordered her soaps and they're sooo nice and creamy and quite pretty! Linda also sells on ebay and etsy.

My love of soaping actually began when I was working my part-time job doing research and my first research project was soapmaking. I found Linda's site during my research and my obsession began.....

I love Blue House Soaps - I loved True Vine Herbs too but she's going out of business (sold everything) to spend more time with family.. :(

Both of them made it very easy!

I hate it when I find a soap site that says "soap is made with olive oil, palm oil, and coconut oil". Umm, what else went into the soap (other than lye)? What if I did have an allergy, and knew to watch out for something? Unless all the ingredients are listed, I have no idea.

A total turn off and I wouldn't buy.

Chagrin Valley Soap has an awesome website and complete ingredient listings. Some stuff is sold out every now and then, but that isn't a huge problem.

Thanks I have never really looked at the online stores and just found it very strange .I can see selling out of an item or 2 but the no info etc , no stock etc got me wondering .
Thanks for the names of some stores . I am off to check them out.
