Olive oil near expiry date

hi, I was wondering am I wasting my time and money using Olive oil that expires in August 19. Hope this is not a silly question, I’m a newbie!

I agree with lsg and I have used oils past expiration. If the oil smells off or old do not use it. I have also used un-opened oils that were upwards of 8-10 yrs old with no problems which were in a carload of destash supplies.
