Crap I forgot to line mold with paper! Was already in the process of making and couldn't stop. So I decided to HP in the crock pot. My question is I assume I need to add more water because I took a water discount initially.

Recipe:
50% lard 700g
25% avocado 350g
25% olive 350g

28% lye solution
lye 183g
sf 5%

liquid:
471g total
spinach juice 235g
pureed cucumber 118g
mashed avocado 118g

1 TBSP clay
3 TBSP oatmeal

If I run it through the calc with a 25% lye solution I would need another 72g of water... thoughts?

Actually, you'll most likely be just fine with your original 28% lye solution. A 28% lye solution is what I like to use when I HP. I find that to be plenty enough water for me. However, if things look like they are getting too dry as the soap cooks, I just give it a spritz or 2 of water from a spray bottle I keep on hand. Spraying instead of pouring water in prevents me from going overboard with adding too much water.

Thanks. I ended up adding the extra water. I wanted to add 25% salt so I did when I thought it looked like mashed potatoes but I think it was already done. It had cooked for just over 30 mins. Because its so green I couldn't tell really from one stage to the next. I tested and it didn't zap. So I just put it in the mold. It still seems like mashed potatoes to me though. But it's really pretty dry...
