OK....how to know you're really tired....

After working a 16-hour day, I decided to come home and make a six-pound batch of soap.

So I measured out my oils...and made my lye water...and...as I"m sitting there, getting ready to mix the two...I realize.....................

my frigging soap pot ain't big enough! And it's the only stainless steel pot in the house. :twisted:

I've got oils..I've got lye water...and NO POT! :evil:

A soapmaker's NIGHTMARE! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, that reminds me of when I used to smoke, having a cigarette & no fire was way worse than having no cigarette .

^OOoh, that just made me cringe. There's a story there, it involves scorching my hair while trying to light a cigarette off of a toaster. I don't miss smoking, and I really don't miss the silly stuff I did to myself while smoking, lol.

OMG how did you salvage it ? Wal mart has cheap stock pots.

Tired is when I had the great volcano soap.. with all the expensive oils in it. (avocado oi, shea butter, and rice bran etc)

Tired is when you are waiting for your lye water to cool... and you fall asleep .. waking to think you not only have to rush to work.. but put up the lye... which you do.. to only realize you off that day :shock:
