Well the other people who opine know way more than I do, but I personally would not superfat at 6 percent. Specially if you are new at it. I

would superfat at 5% or less. Maybe 3 or 4 as the lye concentration is already at 98 or 99%, unless you are using the lye from the improvement store.

This has happen to me especially with certain blends. like my 70/30 coco/shea and super fat of 20 but they dry up nicely after several weeks. actually 24 hours later i have no zap. it just needs to air cure. I notice this the most when i use a wooden mold and cover it. since coconut oil seems to heat up to me.. with the shea ... what it looks like like is little oil sweat beads.. that go away. I also notice this when i use salt in my soap.. or cover the tops with chunks of salt. these bars also dry up after 2 days. NICE AND HARD : GIVE IT A COUPLE OF DAY
