Oh honey

I'm looking for some ideas and inspiration. I have a Wildflower and Honey FO that I don't love and I thought I might like it more if I blended it with another scent. Out of the bottle it reminds me of play-dough but after the cure it develops into more of a honey scent.
The obvious choice is Oatmeal, Milk and Honey, but I was hoping for other options.

I also have a patchouli honey that I really like. Otherwise something almond, cherry, lavender or citrus?

I have a Honey I Washed the Kids fragrance with the same problem. I tried with lavender and chamomile but it was still a no go. I'll have to try patchouli next.

Basil EO? I did something similar - it was with Apricot Honey FO but it was popular with the right crowd. (in other words, it was overlooked for half a dozen shows, and then sold out at the seventh show)
Sandalwood?
I think you can kind of see where I'm going with my thinking, something a bit herby or woody (I'm with dibbles and shunt on mixing it with patchouli as well) to balance the sweet honey scent.
