Oh Honey! Soap

A new soap I worked on yesterday. This one is a little different than my usual creations. It is scented with honey I washed the kids lush dupe. (Which is actually a nice light scent) the first picture is just the basic pic, the other two are with it held up to light.

That looks like actual honey, right in the middle of your soap! How did you get that look? Is it m&p in there?

Yes it is m&p in cp. This is the first time I really used this method where I actually poured the m&p in as a swirl

I actually love the way the soap came out. How did you get it to be opaque with translucent spots?

I used a clear melt and pour base and poured it into a cp

Of the lush scents that one is my favorite. Most of their scents are too strong for me

Btw - love that lush scent. It was one of the first scents I bought from Daystar and it's still one of my favorites fo's.

I love the effect you got with the clear melt & pour. If you like the Honey I Washed the kids scent you might also like Sultana, it has honey and bergamot and I think it is a soft but really yummy scent.
I made an order with Fragrance Buddy, I only tried the Lush and the Moonworks dupes. I am way too picky, and I liked everything that I ordered. My friend tried the Cucumber & Melon and the Sun & Sand and liked both of those. I think just like everywhere else some of the scents are better than others.

Wow!! Never before was I tempted to make MP (don't get me wrong, I just started making soap to be able to control more what goes in my soap), but you got me thinking of it now....

I've wondered about mp in cp....do you freeze immediately to maintain some form without melting out the mp?
