I am searching for Barak Obama molds.....has anyone seen any?

If so, can you tell me where????

You are NOT going to immortalize our new President of the USA in soap, are you?!?!?

J/K!

You might ask Tabitha about her process for Monster Soaps. You could use an image of President-Elect Obama, and cover with clear base. It could be cool with a red white and blue base.

Someone on ETSY sells Obamas face as soap on a rope & calls it Hope on a Rope.

That's a great site. Is it legal to use his name & image like that?

If you are pro-Obama, think twice - remember just where folks use their soap (I'm thinking a bit more specific than "in the shower" if you get my drift).

I agree with you Tab, I sure would not put his likeness on a soap without permission. Talking about the CIA and FBI checking you out, a few black trucks might pull up to their place in Texas! They are pretty pricey too, especially in the economic hard times we are in.....$10 a bar!

Paul

It could be worse... the French were so enamored with Benjamin Franklin that they put his likeness on their chamber pots. They supposedly sold like crazy. It was meant to be a compliment and he took it as such. He found it very amusing that women would be baring their behinds to his likeness.
I dont know if Obama has the same sense of humor or not but he may...

The president-elect is a public figure who is paid with tax dollars. So you don't have to ask permission to use his image. As long as it is not used in a derogatory or obscene way then there is no danger of the big black vans and guys talking into their wrists coming to visit. That is why there are so many cardboard cutouts of the president and other officials around Washington for tourists to take their picture with.

What about the use of his name? Just curious.

Didn't Arnold sue some company a few years ago for using his likeness? After he became the Govenator? What happened with that?

Is anyone going to try to go the Inauguration? I was hoping DS would be able to score us tickets, but he can't. I have put in a request with my Congressman, I even played the mom card and mentioned my son was in the JTF AFIC, we'll see.
