Well .. I took the plunge and made some oat milk soap last night. Used my favorite soap recipe and water:lye - 1:1 to dissolve the lye and the balance in oat milk. To make my oat milk I soaked 1 cup old fashioned oats in 4 cups water for most of the day and then used the SB and blended it after it was all soaked and soggy, then weighed and poured quickly before any of the bits had a chance to settle. ETA: I blended the oat milk in with oils before adding the lye water.
Don't have a clue how this will turn out but we'll see when it comes out of the molds. Husband is always worried I'll get soap in his food when I'm crafting in the kitchen .. now he's really going to wonder when the porridge hits the table in the morning!!!
