Hello, I am in Raleigh, North Carolina and have made one batch of cold process soap, So this is all very, very new to me. I am fascinated with soap making and have been scouring the internet for anything related to soap making. I can already tell that this can get very expensive, so I am going to have to try and restrain myself.

I know I will be asking lots of newbie questions, all of which you experienced soapers have probably seen again and again, thanks in advance for your patience.

I don't plan to sell my soap, just use for my family, friends and gifting, and I am wondering what those of you that don't sell do with all the soap that you make?

Hello and welcome! :D

I've actually stopped making soap for several months because I had so much piled up. I switched to trying liquid soap. You could check with local shelters and see if they accept handmade soap when you have excess.
