anyone done a po, co, shea soap? no olive, thats whats in target natural that my sis loves, says she likes it better than mine, NO way! its 6$ for 4 , 3oz bars.
the numbers would be
52 hardness
18 cleansing
45 condition
27 bubbly
42 creamy(never sdone one that creamy)

I have done an 80% CO 20% Shea Butter and also an 80% CO 20% Cocoa Butter, both with 20% superfat and they are lovely. Rinses away very clean, but not drying - at least not to anyone who is not overly sensitive to CO. Adding in palm would only make it creamier and more moisturising imho. Why not start with 20% Shea Butter and split the difference with CO and PO and then work the lye calc numbers until you get something you like better?

Hmm, I'm curious...that is creamy and hard. Surprisingly, the conditioning is not so great, but it probably feels good with all that shea. Does the bar have chemicals added for bubbles and have you by chance tried it? I can't imagine how they are making it for that price if it is all natural.

I'd take the conditioning number with a large grain of salt, especially with the non-traditional recipes like this.

Soapcalc lists the 85% CO, 10% shea, 5% castor soap I make as 57 cleansing and only 19 conditioning, which would lead you to believe that it's a horribly drying soap, but it's anything but. I love Soapcalc, use it all the time, but it's not always dead-on when it comes to some of the numbers.

havent tried the target bar, hubby says i cant buy, with all the soap we have! I didnt see a lot of any chemicals, maybe they add castor? i didnt notice castor, but im going to add it.
