I'm from South Wales, am not yet an experienced soap maker but have gathered all the ingredients for a simple soap to start with, just trying to find a bit of time when I won't be disturbed, and I can make my first soap !
 
Hi Well the first one made, with only one minor disaster, lol. got everything ready mixed the lye and waited for it to cool, mixed the oils, then disaster, ho no, not enough olive oil for the recipe? what to do, checked out with soap cal to substitute another oil I had in the cupboard and still have the right lye/water mix, well close enough ???
It behaved and whet into the mold. i didn't take is out of the mold until day 2 as I thought it was still too soft on day one. I had a check on it today (a week later) and yes it looks good, I'll post some pics when its ready to show x
