Hi, I am new to soapmaking but had to find a way to "recycle" the tallow from our local butchery. Now it seems as if I have become addicted! ;) Really enjoying the interesting discussions I am finding here.

Spent this weekend processing what seemed like a ton of tallow into Christmas presents. Made a HUGE batch of honey soaps, some strawberry and bubblegum bears for the grandkids, lemon and lavender soap on the ropes, rose scented roses for the grannies and charcoal and tea-tree flowers for the teenagers. 104 soaps in total - between our horrible load-sheddings
