Newbie Soaper and now I'm addicted!!!

Hello forum members,

I've been a long time lurker here while researching on how to make CP soap. I find this forum filled with welcoming and knowledgeable people. I finally joined up when I've down my third batch of CP soap. ^_^

Now, I'm just whiling away my time before all my soaps cure by scouring the many topics re: CP soap-making.

I love baking and noticed that CP soap-making is somehow similar to it. The only difference. . . I can eat what I baked almost the same day but in order for me to use my soaps I have to wait for weeks for it!!!!

With that being said, I have a new addiction.

So true!

Funny story, I was unmolding my coffee/oatmeal/shredded coconut/powdered milk soap today and my little brother thought it was muffins! He was like, can I eat that? lol! He knew I was making soap a whole lot these couple of days and baking had taken a back seat. LOL!

Maybe I should make some muffins tomorrow! lol!

I can't help but take a peek at my little "darlings" while they're curing. I'm really new to soapmaking but so far, everything I've made "seems" ok. I'll probably know when all my "darlings" are cured!!!
