I just rebatched some soap (my first time) and it ... turned out SO badly I wish I'd just left the soap in it's former state...
I tried to make 2 bars:
1 was a coffee bar which I added freshly ground coffee, some benzoin powder, and a few drops of cinnamon EO and it looks like a dog turd grrr! But smells nice
the second was supposed to be a lemon bar to which I added lemon juice, lemon zest, benzoin powder, and some lemon EO and it is SO GROSS it hurts my stomach to smell (I want to watch it set and harden for learning purposes but will be throwing it out afterwards)
I just don't think that Norma Coney book I bought can be trusted for it's recipes as that's where I got both ideas/recipes.... blah..
With that said- I was wondering if anyone wanted to share any of their most awful and hilarious rebatching mishaps and what lessons you learned so that maybe we newbies could avoid that error in the future!
