Newbie from Blighty!

Hi everyone!

Fairly new to soaping but always fancied it, been on a soap making course, now getting ready to order some supplies and get stuck in!

My plan is to get soaping for fun asap, then when I have a bit of stock, put together a website to offer it for sale.

But first things first... I gotta get me some lye and some oils! Really excited to get started. Who knows where it will take me?!

Yay welcome! I *just* made my first batch yesterday and my second batch today! I'm a little hooked.

Welcome to the forum. I don't think my soaps are still perfected, but I do know that I wasn't ready to sell until I had at least a year of soap making under my belt.

Thanks for the welcomes guys! Yeah - I am really looking fwrd to selling eventually but like you guys say - you need to know what you're selling. For now I am going to have fun with it.

I'll make soaps for my kids' teachers at Chrimbo etc but most of all - we'll have lovely soaps to use at home. Really cannot wait!

Just need five minutes to put an order together for supplies. I have tried loads of times but I find myself faffing about not knowing what to buy - so I am going to get the stuff for one or maybe two recipes and just get on with it! lol
