Yup, this one is to go with the Snowballs in a Snowdrift soap, Its made with GM and I purposely went for the orange look as I used cinnamon and orange fo. Its got all sorts of other stuff in, chocolate curls on top and various fruit slices embedded, I plan to brush gold mica on the top. Im happy with the way it looks and smells too. It might be a bit orange but my first batch has already lost that carroty look so I think it will mellow with time. I have also discovered that you can knead rebatch soap like pastry and if you use cornflower and teflon paper you can roll it out and cut it with icing cutters, I made lots of brown Star Anise shapes with a daisy cutter, worked a treat, better (and less scratchy) than the real thing

love the label and the soap! I wish I could see the top better :D

What kind of mold do you use that makes those taller soaps ?

I love your soap by the way.......reminds me of what Apple Jack and Peel should look like in a soap.

Thanks guys
Vic I use a standard wood mold made by me, its 5" wide by 5" high by 12" long, I need to make some more twice the length. When I make my nutty soaps (like this one) I add so much other stuff, balls, curls etc that it makes the main soap rise up to the top (I use 4lb batches) so when I get it out of the mould and then cut I can cut again to make 2 bars out of 1 slice - that probably does not make much sense, sorry!!

:? Oh, wow, I just wanna buy those! Is it just me or have all the SMF members been making some fabulous soaps lately!?
