new to making lotions...

Hello all,

I am very new to making lotions, etc. I was told this was the right place for the answer to my question.

Can you whip you shea butter ahead of time without adding the FO or do it as you go?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you making a whipped butter? and not a lotion? I got kinda confused.

If you are just whipping the shea, you can melt the shea down to room temp, add the FO and whip it.
