new to lotion making

Hi everyone, I am looking for some good websites to get lotion making ideas. I have been playing around with whipped shea butter but think if I am going to sell lotions I will need a lighter lotion for summer as well. I have also tried a few really good samples of lotion bases and wondered if this is really acceptable as a 'homemade lotion'..really what do you tell people if they ask about how you made it

Would like to add soaps and lotions to my candle company!
