Hi, everyone
I need to buy a new scale. First, I guess I'd better say that since I don't sell, my batches are relatively small. So, max weight doesn't seem to be a problem. It's the increments that I'm worried about. The wonderful scales on Lotioncrafter with the ability to read 2600x 0.1 gram or 91.7 oz. x 0.005 oz. goes for $128 (Sigh...oh my...pardon while I wipe the drool off my keys) Varoom!
I've found a very reasonably priced ($27.20) kitchen scale that will do .04 oz. increments. Both have of course grams and ounces, additive weight...all the good stuff...but is the .04 increments good enough? I really don't want to waste my money and then have to figure out how to get the money for the other. My addition seems to be getting a little out of control lately....can I cut back here, or will I run into trouble?
Thanks, Jan
