I am new to the forum also! When I started soaping, I think I read the entire website (candleandsoap.about). It has a ton of information! Say, I just made a small batch of soap using sesame seed oil & olive oil-equal parts. As soon as the lye-water hit the melted oils, it went to trace-immediately!! Is this common for sesame seed oil???
