I went to hobby lobby and other craft stores but I can't see to find god glass jars for sugar & oil scrubs. Any one have any pointers? I use mason jars for now but they tend to get a little messy sometimes. Thanks in advance.

well, actually I'd suggest plastic, cause glass is slippery when wet - especially when water is involved.

Glass in the tub is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Try SKS, EDLuce or containers and packaging. They all carry glass as well as plastic.

I get mine at http://www.bayousome.com/.

They are very quick to ship, good item & shipping prices. I also like that when I have asked a question, I always get a quick response.

on some of my eo and fo labels they caution that when stored in a plastic container that they can start to smell like plastic., would this still be a problem if I dilute them in oils and then store them in plastic? I will always do a trial of my products life in them but I just want to make sure. Thanks for the tip of no glass. I should've thought of that when I dropped my shampoo.

glass v. plastic

Speaking as someone who managed to not only drop a glass bail wire jar full of bath scrub on her bathroom tile floor...and needed 10 stitches for the gash she got stepping on said glass, please use plastic.

To add insult to a painful injury...I cracked the bathroom tile.

Oh, Kathy! Are you alright?

I have no problem w/o fo's stored in plastic. I have some bottles that are 2-3 years old, no problem.

I got glass jars from Sunburst Bottle Company for my body butters & lip balms. I would hope people aren't trying to use those in the tub!
