Natural Colorants & Behavior Compilation?

Hi All,

I'm sure natural colorants have been discussed at length but what I'm looking for is maybe an in-depth testing article that tests natural colors in cold process and if they are better dissolved in oil, or lye, or added at trace. I'm basically looking for a one stop guide directing me on whether a colorant might be scratchy. Right now, I am trying to work with colorants that are added at trace just for simplicity's sake. Is there such a thing?

I've been slowly collecting information from multiple sources but it has been painstakingly long and google results are just not as good as they used to be. Thanks!
