(thank you to all of you for the advice, I appreciate the voices of experience! I'll get the images put back up, I wanted to edit the address on them, and my computer decided it didn't feel like uploading, suddenly.. if it isn't one thing, it's another, oye!)

I've just walked through yet another tutorial on proper product labeling, and have thrown my 'example' labels together for our reference here at the shop. One is front/back for lip balms and the other is front/back for body butters or lotions, since they're slightly different.
I'd appreciate anyone giving a looksie, and if there's anything I'm missing or doing wrong, please do let me know. :)
Thank you for all the help you've shown me, so far - I adore this forum!

**Also, if all the ingredients (oils, fragrance, color, all of it) I use for a product, say bubble bath, are FDA Approved and strictly tested independently, do I still need to put the 'this product has not been tested' warning on my front label, since it becomes a new 'whole' product after I combine things to my recipes' specifications? What I've read about it is fairly unclear, and I want to be sure I do everything 100% accurately and legally.

Your net weight for the body butter should be just "oz." not "fl. oz." Fluid ounces is a volume measurement, not a weight measurement.

On the lip balm I would write the weight this way: Net wt. 0.15 oz (4 g)

I'll change that. I wasn't sure if lotions would count as liquids such as my other bath products, so I erred on the side of caution. :)
Thank you!

Even if the ingredients are all independently tested before you buy them, but your finished product has not been tested, then you need to display the warning. It's no big deal as most small sellers have to do it unless they want to pay for an independent lab test.

If you want to do that, which is fine, then show the weight and volume stated separately. The net weight would be stated in weight ounces (oz.) and the net volume in fluid ounces (fl. oz.).

Example: Net wt. 8 oz. Net vol. 7.8 fl. oz.

The way it was originally written, you were telling the weight in a volume measurement ... it just doesn't work that way.

I'm only fluent in soap labeling, but I love the look of your labels. Love the beehive & the bee!

Thank you. :) These were supposed to be temporary labels, until my artist gets the official design back to me, but I'm starting to really like them! They're a simple vistaprint print - they have a ton over there that you can use as free templates. I've only ever labeled scrubs and soaps, so going through the process of creating them accurately for all my other products now is quite the adventure! :)
