I've got a sweet rythym to this hobbie now. Every weekend I have so much fun, soaping has really enhanced my life.

My day was so FUN and exhausting. I headed out with 49 bars to the Pennsy Flea Market, this cool urban covered market with 70's old school r&b blasting in two different locations. I know all the vendors now and one vendor carries my soaps. I dropped off an assortment of 20 bars. With two kids in tow, a daycare kid and a neighbors kid, we trolled the flea market and brought whatever was our pleasure. One vendor had my custom made frock ready for pickup, brought a pair of earrings and had a breakfast of two plate sized fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for $2.

From there we headed over to the Daycare Provider Flea Market in West Philly, saw all my homegurls (other providers)...sold and gave away soap while carrying the remaining bars around in a box (didn't wanna commit to a table) the kids i had with me raced around the park, riding carnaval rides and line dancing.

Headed back to K&A, sending the neighbor's kid home with free soap and dropping a bar over to another neighbor, I grabbed three tiny tots and headed over to Smith Playground, which is like a child's dream, there is a two story mansion in the park totally dedicated to child play, a giant wooden sliding board and huge play equipment. I ran behind kids till my feet and legs swelled up.

Down the street in Fairmont Park the Muslim sisters were holding a flea market, right near another playground, back out the car for sodas, shopping and play...back to K&A to serve dinner to all the kiddies and shoot the breeze with neighbors and then home.

I can't wait to make another batch of soap tommorow!

  OH NO YA DON"T guess what JUST happened, I'm up in the NE now, my so-called-nice-neighborhood,...a kid just took his dad's huge pickup truck and hit seven parked cars...including MINE!

I just got up and went to my car for my last cigarette...and saw all the people...then I saw my van...

What a crummy ending to a beautiful day. :(

Hope the driver's family is insured.

I'm very sorry to read about your van! I hope it isn't too bad

Rear passenger side banged up, back light gone, knocked all my cigarette butts and pistashio shells outta the ashtray

They caught the kid and the dad is out there talking to people and I heard he ran one car through someone's shed...but I didn't see that...

boy-oh boy

but It's cool I had such a good day today...hey...it's life 8)

I am glad you had such a wonderful day philly , cars can be fixed , the kids will remember today for a long time , nothing better than creating beautiful memories for kids and you. I would be pi$$ed for sure but at least no one was hurt or worse.
