My Soap Planer/Beveler

Here's a pic of my soap planer which my hubby made.

Good news, if anyone is interested, he is open to making more! This is handmade from Pine, with an ultra sharp stainless steel blade (so be careful!) and finished off with a clear stain.

What a clever husband you have. I just want mine to make some wood moulds for me, but I don't think he has the right saw so think the cost of the tools would out weigh the cost of purchasing a made mould.

But then again he who dies with the most tools wins right?

Your husband did an excellent job! I have seen ones that use a paint scraper. That might be more up my alley. The word sharp does not go with clumsy. I want to see some of the soap you use it on!
