OK here goes. This actually a 1 pounder. No colour, no fragrance. Poured at trace (real). Left it alone for about 5 mins and played with it. Put into styrofoam box to insulate, but got only partial gel.

Thank you Hazel, those are caterpillar caviar... just kidding... it's Sago Pearls. I'm still experimenting with plain bases. The pearls are just for me to differentiate batches because all the of them look similar.

Caterpillar caviar  That's too funny.

They are absolutely stunning. I can't take it any longer and will go buy more CO and OO tomorrow so I can make a batch. My dad built me what I'm going to call a "Jack Tank" but he won't be here with it until the first of April. I was going to wait until them to make another batch, but this pic makes it impossible to wait to try this!

Lyn is great. I think we should charter a plane and all go for a personal tutoring session.

I had to look Sago Pearls up. I didn't know what they are

It really is lovely looking soap. You could have some fun with them if you used some blue and green colorants. It would look like pearls and ocean theme soap.

Thanks JackiK. I get you about the part about the pic makes it impossible to wait to try this. After seeing JerryS pix, it got me 'poisoned'. Lyn is just super great for sharing her tips! Thanks Lyn.

I had to look them up also. I had read about using tapioca pearls. I wonder if these get slimy like I've heard the tapioca can.

After that, I went and looked at the different jojoba beads available. This little hobby can get expensive real quick if you let it. There are so many fun things out there.

From what I know, Sago comes from a tree. And they like processed it into food in Asia. I used these in my Mung Bean soup dessert. They come in 2 sizes here. These are the smaller ones.

Yeah, I can't wait to try colours. Right now there's no colour supplier for CP soaps. So I'm just messing around with stuff in my pantry. Gonna try the Pigment Kit at Bramble Berry

Maybe I can answered that in a months time  . This is the first time I'm trying them too. But I reckon, since I sprinkle them on top, they'd probably fall off the soap before it could become anything. I read before you can add them in a layer to create a massage bar.

That's how I saw the tapioca pearls used, also. Keep us posted and be sure to send pics of all your creations. They're really nice.

I don't know how I missed these- (BEAUTIFUL) and putting your soap in a styro container is a good idea, dummy me hadn't thought of that.

Relle.
