I unmolded and cut a double batch. Cheers to Mrs. Zing for her first swirl, pictured on the right. She didn't even practice! She says, here, I'll mirror what you do, she says. WHO DOES THAT?! And that's why they say opposites attract.... t's supposed to be an Ione swirl (Lone if you're in New Zealand). Soap is so weird. I felt like I had too much accent colors and they hardly show. I believe he was poking fun at one of our favorite Kiwis bc she had been reading the capital "i" in Ione as a lower-case "L." And then she made the mistake of admitting that here on SMF. Zing is not going to let her live that one down.

So, yes, I know I won the marriage lottery and am eternally grateful for my beloved Mrs. Zing. But I'll just, ahem, clarify that it was I that did the essential oil slurry and calculation, the lye calculation, the measuring out of oils and lye, the blending basically all the heavy lifting. And yes, I frequently do rely on Mrs. Zing's frosting skills and moral support for soap making -- and, am grateful for nurturing our two children -- but, yeah, jus' sayin'.

Sorry, @Relle , for the obscure reference. I was baiting someone who still has not bit. But @AliOop got it. And it's snowflake sparkle mica from Bramble Berry.
