Hi everyone. I've been lurking on here for about a couple weeks now. Finally made my first soaps today.
I tried three different combinations: 1. A honey melt and pour base with honey ginger FO (no color added) 2. A coconut transparent base with red rose FO (red FD&C liquid color added), and 3. A cocoa butter opaque base with plumeria FO (a lilac shade made by mixing red and blue FD&C liquid colors together.
They look a little better in the picture than in person, especially with the plumeria as it was a little too cool when I was pouring it. I should have heated it back up a little first. But they smell really good!
