My First Recipe!!

My first attempt at a soap recipe I created! I cannot wait to cut it in the morning and see how it turned out!

Unscented. Split into 3 parts and colored one part with 3tsp espresso powder in hot water in hopes to make it darker, and colored one part with 2tsp kaolin clay in hot water in an attempt to make it lighter so I would have 3 shades of brown total.

EDIT: Pics added as I was able to cut it tonight!!!

Congratulations on your first soap. I will ask if you added in the extra lye to react with your citric acid to form sodium citrate.

Thank you! The calc I use adjusts the lye for the citric acid as long you tell it that you are putting it into the liquids.
