Just to share only my experienced. Im very disappointed on my trial making of diswashing liquid. I got my recipe or ingredients in making diswashing liquid from sunshine reesorces rstv on YouTube. I thought it really helps me but the finished product its not good. I followed fully in instruction details even the measurement but i failed. Im very sad because i expecting to make goid diswashing liquid. I bought raw materials little by little till completed. But i still need to search the right or correct procedures.
That was mybad experienced. I waste miney for nothing..

Hello and welcome! If you post your recipe and process members would be better able to help you. We've all had fails. Did you run your recipe through a soap calculator?

It looks like a detergent recipe on YouTube. I just watched part of it. Caustic is used, but this is not a soap recipe, so the lye calculator isn't going to factor into it.

I do not make detergents, so I can't say what went wrong. Many people here like Swift Crafty Monkey for information on making these types of products.
