Hello!
Yesterday I made my first Aleppo soap. I used 100g laurel berry oil and 200g EVOO.
Everything got mixed until a strong trace. After that the soap went into the oven. The oven was set around 60C (140F).

Now when the soap is cut, there are darker spots in it. What are those spots? Did some kind of separation take place?

They look fantastic. Those dark spots will go away when your soaps are cured completely. Those maybe water or unsaponified oil.

No idea, but gosh those are pretty! I'd be sad if the spots faded. Maybe you should send them to me for testing :p
I love that green color - is that green from the laurel berry?

Are you in the U.S.A.? if so, how did you get a hold of laurel berry oil? i thought it wasnt sold here? BEAUTIFUL soap!!!! you must tell us how it works for you :)

Do you know of any Austrian (EU) suppliers?
I think they have it in Germany but I am not sure about its quality or where they buy from etc. because quality varies from region to region on this product. I am in talks with a German Company as well and you all will definetely know if the product is sold somewhere close to you.

You guys forgot to mention about me:)) I will post the prices on sponsor display soon. Waiting on ups!!!
