I’ve been loving adding charcoal to everything - I have so much and it goes so far!

Citrus Tea Tree - drop hanger swirl

Mountain Man - Taiwan swirlish although I wanted a cosmic zig zag but it didn’t work out

Lavender Confetti - using the Caglia method for the confetti and a chopstick swirl

And here’s my weird soap - completely unscented, not colored. It’s made with coconut milk as partial water replacement, distilled water, shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, castor oil and of course sodium hydroxide. It did partial gel even though I raised it up and didn’t insulate it. I’ve made this soap before with all water. Only difference is the coconut milk which was organic but it did have guar in it.

Major bummer. Reading the title, I had hoped you'd show off your charcoal collection (charcoal from different woods, coconut shells, bones, blood, …), and now it's only one lousy type of charcoal 😂.

Seriously, the bicoloured soaps are gorgeous! 🤩 Well presented, though I needed a moment to realise that it's multiple batches with various techniques there.

And regarding your weirdo: give it some time. Partial gel heals out, and if everything else fails, grate it up and add it as confetti snow in a winter landscape soap. But I'm sure it deserves attention just as it is. 🥰

I would never have thought about all those different kinds of charcoals especially in soap! And thank you. I was going to upload individual photos of each batch but I rather liked the compilation. :)
