I used the same mold and one of the dividers broke....and I needed another one. I called Brambleberry to order another mold and found they weren't carrying them any more. THey said it was because they raised the cost, but so what?

I couldn't get ANY information from Brambleberry on Sunnybrooke Farm. Not a phone number...not a Web address, nothing. They would not even tell me where they were based.

They told me (in June) they would have another mold on the site by August. It's nearly september and it hasn't happened.

Let me just say...Brambleberry wasn't forthcoming or pleasant about me asking for the information either...which was really annoying. Definitely didn't endear me to them, that's for sure. I know there is a certain amount of competition for customers, but the customer's needs should come first.

I ordered a similar mold from Paul (aka Soapmakerman) and it works great. It's a little too small (I need a 36 bar mold.. and his makes 20) but it works fine.

Also SoapHutch.com has plexiglass molds, but it's a pain getting the soap out of them...so I don't use that one any more.

If you find out anything....let me know.

soapsaloon has some nice molds but they are tray molds with knives. I love mine!

That stinks that Brambleberry was so uncooperative. Sorry!

Brambleberry has contacted me about my slab molds with dividers, being a distributor. I will be providing several items to Brambleberry to sell.

I was just going to suggest that you talk to Paul.  I know he does custom orders and I know he has wonderful molds. My first order was a custom job. It was during a rushed time for him and I was a total stranger. Yet, he took the time to ascertain what I wanted and made it for me. That is customer service! I used it just yesterday for salt bars and they dropped out beautifully!!!!

Paul that is great.

At least if Brambleberry pulls the rug out...then we know where to go!

I still need a bigger mold, though!

Are you game for doing one more for me???

You bet! Let me know what size you want, and the finished bars to be, and I'll "get 'er done!"
