Mixing CP and M&P

I poured a fancy melt and pour layer at the bottom of my mould, sprayed it with rubbing alcohol and then poured cold process soap batter on top. When I unmoulded it the following day, the melt and pour layer separated. What is the secret for "sticking" melt and pour and cp?

There had been a soapchallenge club challenge on mixing mp and cp. There are links to other content of the winning soapmakers. Some of those are blogs explaning how they made the soaps. Maybe you can find your answer there?

Did you ever find the solution to combining CP and MP? Did you let the alcohol evaporate before adding in the second layer? If not I bet that’s why it separated but I’ve never used melt and pour yet so not entirely sure , I am definitely curious though

I have never tried it again and, as for the alcohol evaporating, I cannot remember if I let it evaporate or not. Sorry!
