Here's my first two soaps for my mom's mission trip.

The first is called "Firmament" from Genesis 1:7 "He separated the water under sky from the water above sky. And there it was."

The second is called "Earth" from Genesis 1:11 "God spoke: 'Earth, green up! Grow all varieties of seed-bearing plants, every sort of fruit-bearing tree.' And there it was."

Pretty good! That first one looks like a painting describing that passage. What did you scent them with?

The black/blue one is "fresh linen" because that's what I had handy. The blue/green is rosemary and peppermint. I'd love to do the animals with tiger stripes for genesis 1:24 "God spoke: 'Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind: cattle and reptiles and wild animals--all kinds.' And there it was: 25 wild animals of every kind, Cattle of all kinds, every sort of reptile and bug. God saw that it was good." But tiger/zebra stripes seem a bit advanced.

Nope, it's done by pouring two different colors on top of each other straight down the center of the mold. Celine form iamhandmade has TONS of these. Remember soap is interpretive art so you can do full stripes instead of the "half" stripes you see on animals.

Here's making "Adam and Eve" :) And it's black and white like Zebra stripes.

Here's cutting Adam and Eve, so you can see the result of her pour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwjGwwLplr4

Also RockandRoyalty gave me a link to a youtube video earlier showing a spooning technique that might work as well:

I second that...the tiger stripe thing would probably be easier then the way you did your first soap :) Give it a go :)
