met a fellow soaper today

I met a fellow soaper today who lives in my town. Its nice when you can talk to someone who doesn't stare back at you thinking, "why are you this excited about soap".

Anyways she also has a business selling soap. My question is how concerned should I be about talking soap/business strategy? I'm certainly not interested in taking business from her and hope the same of her. Other then she mainly sticks to goat milk and I don't touch the stuff we still service the same general area.

Any thoughts on how to proceed with this soaping friendship?

Just watch her reactions as you ask her questions and get to know her first before getting into the business questions. I envy you! I would love a RL soaping friend. Mine are all on-line and it isn't the same. I want a soaping buddy, the people I have soaped with just arent excited about it. They really don't get it!
