Hey, Peeps! I am making lotion bars and using mango butter for the first time. I forget the source now but learned that it's best to melt shea butter on low heat -- and I wanted to check if that was also true for melting mango butter? Thanks,

I melt all my butters on low heat.

I agree. I read in several places that if you can sustain very low heat for several minutes after it melts (range from 15-30 I've read lol) it does wonders for grainy-Ness. In all butters.

I also pop them in the fridge immediately after pouring for about an hour and then let them set on the counter for about a day after. Not sure if that makes a big difference but I also read it often enough lol

FYI, I use cocoa, shea and mango in my lotion bars
