That's awesome! Are you going to have to play "Eeny meeny miny mo" to pick which one to soap first?

My first order of colorants was from Nurture, and after reading so many posts here about the difficulties people have with colorants from other suppliers, I've only tried a handful of things outside of Nurture. Didn't like any of them.

It's so easy to shop Nurture because they are very clear in their descriptions about safety and stability! Yes, they make it easy to spend my money! But I've never been disappointed...and I've given up on those little sample bags....they waste a lot of product. It's worth the price of the jars for ease of use, and less mica dust on my fingers and blowing in the air.

What'd ya get? What'd ya get? I have waaayyy too much micas from Nurtures lol.

For those of you living outside of the U.S., shipping may not be as bad as you think. Try adding a few items to the cart and calculate the shipping. One of the reasons she ships in bags was for us international customers.

Oh Froggy, you must be on cloud nine. I love that all of Nurture's micas are tested in CP, so you know what you're getting. I've ordered from others and had some unhappy surprises. You're gonna have some super pretty soaps!

And Cindy, you already got your order from WSP? I'm with Snappyllama.......I'm still waiting, and when I checked yesterday, my order hadn't even shipped yet! What the heck?

You're killing me froggybean!!! I WANT those micas!

What colors did you get? Are those the 1oz or 4oz jars?

ETA: nevermind, those have to be the 4oz jars . . . now I'm even more jealous

They're actually just the 1 oz. jars so I can try them all out :) I love that you get so much with 1 oz of Mica!

Previous to this I had really only ordered my colourants from one place, and found them to be "enh ok" but thought that was just what cp/hp did to colourants. It wasn't until I started watching youtubers that I realized what a wild and amazing world of mica's there were! :-o

Will be sure to post pics as I get through the colourants! Still working on catching up after the holidays but I'm looking forward to spending a few days in my soapy lab with these babies!

One of the blessings of living in Indiana - WSP is in OH; I usually get my orders from them quickly. Other than the Nag Champa, I got everything on my list (59 items total) with all in stock in less than a week. Nurture is in Lafontaine IN and I usually get my orders in 2-3 days. Carrie ships USPS with priority mail. International customers - shipping is not ridiculous this way; $30-$40+ USD and Carrie gives you a 5% discount for orders over $60; she also offers a variety of other 5% discounts, but I can't seem to leave there w/out spending 60+.... (I do not work for NSS or receive any benefit from them - I just love this store). I'm still buying the sample bags so I can try them all, but I love those jars. I keep coming back to this post just to look at your picture!

I should probably say that I don't work for them either because I find myself recommending them very often lol!

Ooh! I think I'm suffering from mica envy. As a new soaper, I have very very colors, I wasn't 5lb mold from them with cover that was reviewed on YouTube. 5 lb was out of stock. It was a beautiful mold and came with 2 two mica samples and a double ended spoon. Great service.. As to storing them, I just today sent my hubby to the grocery store to buy baby food jars. He bought a variety of foods because he thought if he bought all of one kind, people would laugh :) men...:) I thought they would be a great way to store the, vs. baggies. Question though, are micas as good in CP as say pigments or oxides? Hard keeping track of which color morphs, bleeds, etc...need to add to labels I guess. Same problem with FO. They don't have flash point on the bottles, so I have to look every one up. Also need to label which ones trace quickly etc.. Enjoy your micas! I am gathering a list to order myself.BTW, while I'm rambling, does anyone k ow of a site that lists various vendors and their prices for oils, butters etc...? I'm writing out a graph so I can reference where to buy what, unless I find some particular vendor that I prefer their product, so worth extra $. As a newbie though, I think I'm a ways off from deciphering what is or isn't working in my recipe.

Just noticed a few typos from my post. I have very few micas, or colorants in general. I saw the review on YouTube of their molds with sliding cover. Got the 2.5 lb. 5 lb out of stock.

Me too. Their website said processing time was 1 - 2 days when I placed it on 12/30. Then it said 2 - 3 days, now 5 - 7. order status is still "pending". I was worried it was "stuck" in cyberspace.

Great looking Mica haul you have there! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit jealous! :p

I ordered some Micas around the start of the year too, with a coupon that wasn't accepted. Wrote an email to Nurture right after placing the order. They immediately responded back and fixed it, but after a few days we noticed no shipping notification. Wrote back again and discovered some snafu on their end. It was sent out that day.

In the last month or two they have drastically expanded their online offerings, plus the holiday chaos to boot. I imagine they're pretty busy and suggest giving them a holler. I've always had great service from them and super fast shipping.

Oh, and I love their molds and micas.

Wow those are stunning. They really have silk in them? I have been wanting to try the liquid silk Bramble Berry carries but I cannot justify spending 7 dollars an ounce on it, particully because I dont sell.
However those jars could pay for themselves it you recycle them for body butter or lotion.
