Maybe a new hobby

Hello everyone,
I bought some Dr. Squach soap a month ago and got a variety of soaps. I really liked the Pine Tar Active Charcoal soap and Bay Rum Soap. I used to be a Chef for about 15 years. I been doing a lot of reading on how to make soap the lAst few weeks and buying some supplies. I made my first soap yesterday. I found this forum yesterday as well. I made some Pine Tar soap and put two lines of activity charcoal through it. Looks great in the mold so far. A little glycerin sweat on top. Is there a recipe forum? Looking forward to more experimenting.

Welcome. Pine tar as a first soap, thats adventurous. Did you have any trouble? I'd never heard of Dr. Squach so I took a look, the videos are great!

Welcome, gthuffines. Wow, you are ambitious! I still haven't ever made pine tar soap. I've only been soaping about 3 years, but still, that's an ambitious first soap.
