Mango Butter

I have been using mango butter from Bramble Berry and the description says it is almost odorless but mine smells just like lard :-?. Does anyone else use MB and if so, can you tell me what your smells like?

After some recent experiences I would not be completely surprised if Brambleberry's supplier has substituted mango butter for lard...... :thumbdown:

I have some Mango Butter from Soap Goods and MMS/The Sage. I'd say both have a noticeable, warm and buttery aroma that I find pleasant. Comparing it to the lard in my fridge I'd say the lard is a lot less fragrant.

I use WSP Mango and it doesn't smell like lard. Hard to say what it smells like but def. not lard!

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I will buy some from another source. But I will always be wondering if this batch was really lard
