Making Clear Lip Gloss

I am hoping somebody could help me with a request l have from my Granddaughter.She has asked me for a clear lip gloss that will go in a glass container similar to a roll on perfume.I can make an ordinary lip balm but how do you make it runny enough for the container.The answer is probably very simple but these old brains aren't working as well as they should and l would really appreciate some help
