I have a wonderful liquid castile soap base that is very thick and was wondering if I could use it as a sugar scrub? How much sugar do you start with as a general rule? Can I also add other oils to it? I just need some guidelines to get started.

When I do a scrub, I just add sugar in the raw to my favorite oil (mostly olive oil) and rub it into my hands for a few minutes then rinse it off. I don't see why castile soap wouldn't work tho. I don't use salt as it has drying effects on my skin.

I've had luck using a little bit of soap in the scrub recipe (not much tho...just kinda have to play around with it)

It helps get some of the oil off in my opinion
