Hey guys, I have been looking everywhere for a Lingonberry oil fragrance and can't find one anywhere. Does anyone know how to make your own oil from fruits? Can I simply soak the lingonberrys in hot oil for a few days?

Fragrance oils are artificial. They don't come from fruits. You can try to infuse some oil with the berries, but I would be very surpised if that worked. If the berry has a rind like an orange, that might work, but I don't think it does.

You may need to try combining different FOs to see if you can get the scent you want.

Try looking for a tart cranberry. Somebody (I think Brambleberry?) has a cranberry FO called tart realistic and that might work.

Infusing oils with the fruit or making tea with it will not be very effective in CP soap. It will tend to turn brown and the scent doesn't last.

Hi I'm new to this app! I make melt and pour soap i add the FO or EO but the scent seems to disappear from my soap bars! wonder if I'm putting the scent into the melted soap to hot? What is the best smelling fragrant to use that is strong and will last. Sheila x
