I got a cute little sea shell mold and I'm thinking I'll need to use M&P with it. I've not worked with M&P except for the junk that comes from michaels.
I'm looking for recommendations for a clear that lathers well and is easy to work with. Would really like it if its something I might be able to get from amazon to save on shipping. Probably only want 1-2 lbs.

Essentials by Catalina has a great clear and ultra clear m&p, although it is not a soap based m&p. Even I can work with it and that is saying a lot!! How soon do you need it? I can send you a couple of pounds, but I cannot get to it until Friday or Sat. Back at the parents today but I can get home and put a couple of pounds in a flat rate envelope. Actually I might be able to get to it tomorrow after I get home from a funeral. Sadly a friend of ours lost their son on Mother's day :(

Sorry to hear about your friends loss.

Thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. I'm in no hurry so take your time. I have other soaps I need to get to before I tackle what I hope will be a cute beach soap.

I've been wanting to get into m&p so hopefully this will be a easy brand for me. I don't care if it's detergent based, I just want decent lather.

You still have my address?

As I mentioned above I am talking about Essentials by Catalina's bases, which are very nice. Some of Stephenson's are also very nice and I know my daughter had some she mixed with her Catalina bases. I am using the Ultra Clear and really like it from Catalina. They in-house manufacture with one of the chemists being the owner
