Soooo, some of you may have seen the photo I posted of my CP/M&P chunked "fruit slices" soap the other day.

As I kind of suspected, I am having a little bit of an issue with the M&P. I wondered before making this soap if it would need to be wrapped, because the chunks are exposed to the air, on the sides of the soap.

Anyway, today some of the melt and pour chunks are kind of sweating. Is this what typically happens to M&P when it is not wrapped?

Should I wrap the soaps? The chunks are embedded in fresh CP soap, and I know that CP soap is supposed to be left to air out. So, do I leave it unwrapped and just let the M&P keep sweating, or should I wrap them (but then the CP won't air out?)

Not sure what to do here!

TIA for any advice!

The chunks may just be drawing moisture out of the air. If it were me, I would allow the CP to air dry as needed & then clean them up & wrap them. Misting alcohol on M&P will generaly dry up that moisture. You could aslo wipe them with a damp cloth or baby wipe.
