Please say it ain't so, are these lye pockets?
I brought the soap to a light trace and hand stirred in the fragrance, did not stick blend with the fragrance.
I'm still relatively new at soaping and really want this batch to be ok. I used my frozen goat's milk recipe and was thinking it might be that.
I also tried the zap test and had no zap in this spots. What do you all think?

It looks like the fo didn’t get mixed in well possible. Os there any seeping? Did you use any colorant? Could be that too. A way to avoid that is to add the fo to your oils before adding your lye mixture.

There is no seeping and only have colorant in the top from Holly leaves I'd made from a previous batch. So technically no colorant.
This FO is doing crazy things too as the batch has turned a light pink color. I'm crossing my fingers it's just FO as I can live with that.

Given the shapes of the light areas I would also lean towards the incomplete mixing idea. Is it a discoloring FO? (ETA you answered while I was posting) What trace level was the batter? Did you scrape the side of the bowl or pitcher partway through filling the mold?

Mobjack, yes the FO is discoloring the soap. I made it Wed and cut it yesterday, Thursday, and it's been turning a darker pink ever since.
I brought it to a light trace as I recently had a FO that accelerated and wasn't sure what this would do. I don't recall scrapping the side of the bowl midday through, other than to get so the soap out.
