Hello! I’ve read many of the past threads on tall and skinny mold recommendations but I’m not quite ready to be making 5lb loaves just yet.

Does anyone know of a tall and skinny soap mold (ideally wood with a silicone liner but I’ll take whatever I can get) that’s sized for smaller batches? Ideally I’d like both a 1lb and 3lb mold. Thank you.

I love my Nurture Soap T&S mold, but when I just checked, it isn't listed with their current offerings.

Custom Craft Tools has one that is 12x4x2.5, which should be about 3lbs of oils. It's very well-rated, and looks fabulous, but it is pricey!
Wow! At $105+shipping that’s definitely a bit more than I was hoping to spend. I have a woodshop and a 3d printer, it might be worth trying to build my own at least to start with.

I’ve been watching the Nurture website forever hoping to snag a second low end 12” TS mold, but so far no luck. I ended up buying this 10” long TS mold by Workshop Heritage:

I like the size/length of the WH mold because it holds the same amount of soap as my inexpensive workhorse purple liner Amazon molds. I actually have several WH molds, the TS and two slab molds. They’re well made, but the silicone used to make the liners is very flexible and the sides of the liners can be a bit floppy. I end up having to use Vaseline between the liners and the molds to keep the sides of the liners in place. The liner for the Nurture mold that I have is a much firmer silicone that I find easier to use and clean.

P.S. if you have a 3D printer you can print some clips to hold the WH liners in place. I’ve seen that solution in some YT videos.

I did look on amazon but I could only find 5lb molds or bigger. I can certainly look again.

@Midnight_Sun , I just double-checked. It looks like I bought it on TEMU. Unfortunately, it is sold out. But, I'm pretty sure this could be found on AMAZON.COM. It is remarkably sturdy. I don't put in a box of any sort and it doesn't bow out. It's really firm. Maybe if you use the size of the mold in a google search it would pop up somewhere. I've only used it a couple times but I actually like the taller narrower shape quite a bit.

How's this? The Amazon AI quotes reviews saying that it holds about 14 oz.

Well darn, @artemis. Now there’s one more thing in my shopping cart that I really don’t need, but would like to have for fragrance testing. The dimensions are just right to get 5 full bars of soap, same as my other soaps. The other 1lb. mold I have forces me to get some fiddly extra shapes. Uh, Thanks?
