Im thinking of registering an LLC but I just want some opinions on whether something else would better suit me...

My intention:

I want to run a Massage business, soap and lotion making business and probably something else along the way... I was thinking of registering an LLC as say IANTERRYINTERNATIONAL or something like that lol...

and then have each of the companies separately registered to that LLC by DBA's....

Does that sound like a good plan?

That sounds good to me, my friend who's a lawyer that deals in this kind of stuff said LLC is the way to go... but I think I already kind of said this earlier today on the other thread...

(backs out of the room awkwardly)

I have a couple biz's umbrelled under my LLC but did not bother to DBA each one. My gallery is a 'division of' and my bath biz is a 'division of'. I think it makes it easier for taxes, etc, to lump it together. This way, your LLC insuarnce will cover all of it as well.

Tab!!!! that is EXACTLY what I want to do down to the terminology.... "Umbrella"

How do you make a "division of"?.... Is that just an option in your LLC registration or an addon or something?

What would be the best way of going about this?

and for the LLC insurance... Id love you forever for some more detail on that one too :)
